James Bailey donates 12 computers to local schools
The pandemic has forced most children in the UK to stay at home and for some families providing the technology for home, learning isn’t easy. Thankfully, we’re hearing lots of stories of kindness across the country and one of these stories comes from our Technical Director, James Bailey.
When a local company went out of business, James went in and helped clear out their office, collecting some of the technology on the way. With the help of WiseGuys, James has now donated 12 working computers with monitors and peripherals so that a few more children aren’t excluded from working from home.
WiseGuys is a computer repair company, that is refurbishing and passing all donated computers and laptops to local schools in the Bournemouth area. Earlier this month, WiseGuys asked all its social media followers to donate any old computers or laptops so that they could refurbish and pass on to local schools.
